This blog was inspired by Jane Dunnewold's blog Daily Visuals, and my goal is to post a picture a day. This blog is also dedicated to my Mom who passed away five years ago today (Nov.30,2004). When I received my first camera about fifty years ago, I was reprimanded because I took a whole roll of film of "nothing" and it cost too much to get it developed. Well I'm still taking pictures of nothing, it doesn't cost anything to develop them now and I'm going to share them with you.
when I saw the thumbnail in my google reader I was sure this was a globe. clicked on it to see it large, and looked at it for a long time still thinking it was a globe, trying to identify which part of the world I was looking at. way too long afterwards, I finally realized it was just a sphere with peeling paint or something.
ReplyDeleteit could sure be a globe. I think I will regard it as a map of some other world.
It's actually a ceramic pot in a local store window. I too thought it was a globe at first glance. I'd love to find a home for it in my house, it's quite large and has an even larger companion.
DeleteI like the idea of a map from another world!
You sure fooled me! I thought it was a globe, too.
