My on line friend Kathy Loomis ,who also does daily photos, is writing a series of blogs comparing our photos. She has also "interviewed" me on line for an upcoming post. Check out her blog here.

This blog was inspired by Jane Dunnewold's blog Daily Visuals, and my goal is to post a picture a day. This blog is also dedicated to my Mom who passed away five years ago today (Nov.30,2004). When I received my first camera about fifty years ago, I was reprimanded because I took a whole roll of film of "nothing" and it cost too much to get it developed. Well I'm still taking pictures of nothing, it doesn't cost anything to develop them now and I'm going to share them with you.
oh dear. I think I would give up! I know what it is like to struggle through snow. but only one tree? how do you stay up! LOL
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful though.
Sandy in the UK
Oh Sandy you'd have a tough time living in the high desert. This picture was taken in a very agriculture area where they grow onions, wheat, corn and sugar beets - trees would get in the way! We do have three trees on our lot here in town.
ReplyDeleteI thought my home was the only place on earth this flat--the Red River Valley of the north. This could be the view from Fargo in any direction.
ReplyDeleteAh, but we have mountains in the background, very close to us. This area is part of the Snake River area.
