This blog was inspired by Jane Dunnewold's blog Daily Visuals, and my goal is to post a picture a day. This blog is also dedicated to my Mom who passed away five years ago today (Nov.30,2004). When I received my first camera about fifty years ago, I was reprimanded because I took a whole roll of film of "nothing" and it cost too much to get it developed. Well I'm still taking pictures of nothing, it doesn't cost anything to develop them now and I'm going to share them with you.
I'm so glad you posted about this on the Complex Cloth list. I wasn't aware that Jane did this for a year. I think it's a great idea! On my way home from the gym this morning I saw some forlorn looking hydrangea in someone's yard and wished I had my camera with me, and that prompted the thought that I should take photos more regularly and now I see this!! Thank you! I'm not sure what I'll do with these thoughts and this sequence of events but I'll try to remember to at least follow along here. Good luck with your project!
ReplyDeleteBTW, I set up a blog earlier this year for fiber art related things and have never posted anything on it. Hmmmm!

Thanks Sue. I've started to carry my camera everywhere. I love taking pictures from the passenger seat when we are on long drives.
